"Over the last couple years, Jamie Masefield built nearly 4,000 feet of stone walls for me on my farm in Orwell using fieldstone taken from the property. In good weather and bad, he worked steadily, cheerfully, and skillfully. The walls look like they have always been there, and his work has added immeasurably to the beauty of the landscape."

"For decades, I have wanted to build stone walls on my property in Upstate NY, but was always discouraged by common misconceptions of cost and stability.  Jamie Masefield convinced me otherwise when I called him for a consultation on over 200' of retaining walls that were collapsing in my front yard and pool area.  We collaborated to source the best local materials, draw up an amazing plan which included the addition of a fire pit, argentine grill, and a pizza oven.  What was most amazing though, was how Jamie welcomed my son and several local kids under his wing as laborers, and taught them the artistry and methods of building with stone.  My son now has a passion and craft that will last him his whole life, and my property is now graced with the most beautiful, rock solid, natural stone walls for generations to come!"
